Metalchallenge365 - I started one up again

years ago I set myself a challenge in making something new every day . I made it to 276 days , Lets how many days I can do this time 1/365 Sterling Earrings with Kingman Turquoise Bringing it all together :) first time I made something like this . its not easy to do actually . I might make a similar pair later on and show the whole process . I ran out of time and needed to finish and taking pictures takes almost as long

I never remember to give updates in what is happening in my shop with new things , processes and such ... sorry about that :) we are starting to list more finger picks for finger pickers . We have reworked our designs so that they fit fingers much better than before and are easier to adjust as these are completely handmade we can accommodate different sizes and shapes ... you can email us at sales@niciart.com :) I am using metal stamps for giving them some extra beauty and character

Got new steel plates with new designs

At the moment I am very much into the norse or viking mythology and thus my friend made me a couple of steel plates with viking designs . They will be featured under my collectible artisan pick collection

The joy of living in the Arizona desert

I love living in the desert . Coming from Germany living here is completely different and sometimes oddly surreal . Growing up as a child I always hated winter the most . When I ventured out of the apartment I was always cold and " frosted " through within minutes . Even then I was drawn to warmth and sun and missed it terribly . When we moved to New Mexico and then to Arizona the only thing I really really missed was water and water sports . I learned swimming when I was 2 years old and could clear...
